Young Scientists Program 2009 (YSP)Invite your student to apply for YSP Fellowship The 21st IUBMB and the 12th FAOBMB International Congress of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB-2009-Congress) will take place in Shanghai on 2-7 August, 2009. This Congress will offer comprehensive advances at the cutting edge research of biochemistry and molecular biology. More than four thousand participants from all over the world are expected to attend this Congress. The Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology will host this prestigious Congress. The Young Scientist Program (YSP), which is an important part of IUBMB-2009-Congress, is aimed to provide Ph.D. students and junior postdoctoral fellows from all over the world with opportunities to meet each other, to make friends and to discuss science, career development and future collaborations in an informal and friendly environment. It will be held in Shanghai from July 30th to August 2nd, 2009. The Organizing Committee will provide 100 competitive fellowships for applicants from all over the world. A successful applicant will receive a fellowship that covers the major part of his/her travel and living expenses during YSP and the main congress. The applicant should be either a Ph.D. student or a junior postdoctoral fellow within 3 years of obtaining her/his Ph.D. degree. The applicant has not participated in YSP of IUBMB before.
